Bhubaneswar: Against the backdrop of the space wave pulsating in the entire nation, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ISRO and VSSUT was signed at VSSUT, Burla in a virtual conference in the presence of Dr K Sivan, Chairman, ISRO, Dr P.V. Venkitakrishna,
Director, Capacity Building Programme office, ISRO, Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Secretary, Skill Development and Technical Education, Govt of Odisha, Prof. Atal Chaudhuri, Vice Chancellor, VSSUT and other delegates.
Sri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Secretary, Skill Development and Technical Education highlighted the support of ISRO and Dr K. Sivan for his nice cooperation.
He stated that such type of programme will be helpful to boost the talent of young scientists. He expressed that generally some good ideas come out from the students of small villages and towns and we have to discover them. He also narrated about TBI VSSUT for enriching different startup and promoting the startup culture.
Chief guest of the programme Dr K. Sivan emphasized the excellent work of VSSUT Students. He expressed great hope that the VSSUT Space innovation centre will promote the advanced space knowledge among students and create conducive space culture in India. Students will be more interested for space research and application in future. He also stated that it will be
a game-changer for the country and more research is required for the development of subsystem and propulsion system.
