New Delhi, July 25 (HS) While the number of Corona patients is increasing in the country, the number of tests being done to detect has also increased.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has conducted more than 4 lakh 20 thousand tests in last 24 hours, which is the highest number till date.
According to ICMR, 4,20,898 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours in the country. With this, a total of 1,58,49,068 tests have been done so far.
Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has set a target of 10 lakh tests per day in the coming days. Therefore, ICMR is also increasing the number of labs to conduct these tests across the country. At present, more than 1290 labs have been established in the country, said the officials.
