Bhubaneswar: The state’s High Schools have been beautified by painting and drawing on the walls under five schemes. The school campus has been tiled, benched, and glassed from the lab to the library. The state government is exaggerating about 5t schools. However, it has not made detailed arrangements as to how the educational development of the children will be enhanced. An example of this is the recently published Matric Examination Result 2024. This result proves that the education system in government schools of the state is very weak.
Five schools receivedcommendations from the 24-year-old state government led by BJD during the general election campaign. During a public election meeting, BJD leader and closest to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Bhairav Karthik Pandian, claimed whether five schools are better than central schools. Mr. Pandian contrasted the five schools’ digital boards with the central schools’ blackboards. If five schools are a way better, Mr. Pandian ought to keep in mind how bad the test scores are. 109 high schools, both government and aided, are located in 6 blocks of the Subarnapur district. In the district, 25 students have passed with A1 grades. Out of these only two students from two high schools received an A1 grade with 540 marks. It would not be wrong to say that the education status of the remaining 107 high schools is bad; as not a single child from any government school in Sonepur, Dunguripali, Binika, and Rampur blocks could score 90 percent marks. Not only Subaranpur, rather the situation is similar in all other districts of the state.
On Sunday, the state government’s Department of School and MassEducation published the results of the 10th and 12thboard examinations. Following the release of the student’s scores, the parents, instructors, and children are all excited. The results of class 10thand 12thexams are being released on the same day for the first time in Odisha’s history. Additionally, the results for thestreams ofArts, Sciences, Commerce, and Vocational Education were released simultaneously. The earlier revelations were the results of Science and Commerce. The results of the Arts and Vocational Education examination were released a few days later.
Girls’ results in both the 10th and 12thBoard Examinations are encouraging. The girls’ performance conveys a positive message at a time when societal violence against women is on the rise. This year’s matric pass percentage is 96.07%. According to information provided by the board, girls are passing at a higher rate this year than boys. In a similar vein, the board’s statistics indicate that, in the results released this year, the pass rate for girls is 96.73% and for boys, it is 96.39%. A total number of 5 lakh 41 thousand 61 students appeared for the exams; out of whom 5 lakh 30 thousand 153 students have passed.
The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (CHSE) issued the results of the Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational Education Examination2024 in a single day. This time, the pass rates for the arts, sciences, and commerce are 80.95%, 86.93%, 82.27%, and 68.02%, respectively. According to the CHSE, the results for these four streams are now available. The results of the arts, sciences, commerce, and vocational education have all been released altogether for the first time.
