We take tremendous pride and fervour in celebrating the freedom our forebears fought for us on Independence Day each year. It’s a day to consider the nation’s history, the sacrifices made, and the hardship faced. Beyond the ardour and nationalism, however, this is also an opportunity to look forward to see the India which we want to create, and to recognise our youth as the architects of this future.

It’s common to see youth as the foundation of any community. It’s a moment of limitless enthusiasm, new insights, and a strong desire to change the world. The future leaders of this country are the young people. They are the one who will continue the tradition.

The power of youth:

An organisation’s youth are its core. They have an abundance of enthusiasm, novel insights, and ideas. Having grown up in a technological connected society, they are the generation known as digital native. Our lifestyle, workplace, And the interpersonal relationship could all be completely transformed by this generation.

An exemplary case of this demography dividend is India, with its enormous youth population. Our youthful talent pool is enormous and prepares us to face the globe. They are young minds; they look and solve problems with new perspectives and innovative ways. Thinking out of the box is crucial for progress. This digital age and the era of social media also play a vital role by connecting the people of different backgrounds and cultures. By this they share their ideas and problems too and stand collectively to become a voice of the nation.

Youth as agent of change:

The young people have the power to be catalysts for change. They can navigate social, economic, and political change.

Social Change: With all the advanced knowledge and having the spark to change the society along with the mutual support they can administer social causes like education, gender equality, healthcare, environment etc. They can change the old and wrong regime, break all barriers and make our nation more inclusive and prosperous.

Economic growth: The youth can be a major force behind the economic growth of India. They have capability to become anything like innovator, inventor, entrepreneurs, job provider etc. By adopting new skills and exploring the new area of learning they can take India’s economic growth to the next level.

Political participation: The participation of youth in the politics of a nation is very crucial. The youth should know their rights and responsibility towards their nation. The youth’s active participation in the nation’s politics make the nation young and charged. With the power of voting, they can align the nation towards growth and development along with the interest of youth.

Challenges and opportunities:

The challenges are responsible for the change in society. Social difficulties, change in environment, unemployment are very few things faced by youth. To utilize the full potential of our youth it is important to invest in them by giving them quality education, skill development support, and providing the knowledge of entrepreneurship. But as I say, challenges brought change therefore, these challenges brought huge opportunities for youth to tackle them and make a change in the society.

From the beginning of time young minds are naturally inclined towards innovation and invention. With new business ideas (Entrepreneurship) they take risks and come up with a very innovative way to solve the problem and create job opportunities for others. They come up with new ideas and sustainable solutions to the problems and make the nation develop and prosper. For example, human face problem to move luggage from one place to another then a young mind come up with the idea of wheel then another young mind innovate it and make cart from it after that biofuel engines are invented next electric car engine come in existence and now, we try to move toward more innovative way which is hydro engines. This is how the new mind of every era keeps changing the economic, Political and social challenges of the nation.

In this digital revolution they leverage technology and bring social changes in the nation, enhancing education and governance. The digitization makes the world full of opportunities and possibilities. It lets young people connect all over the world, learn from each other and think beyond the borders. The digital platforms allow the youth to reach every corner of the nation. It makes them aware of the problem of the nation and a basic feasible solution for the same. Taking the voice of one corner of the nation to another, spreading the knowledge of innovation and entrepreneurship to everyone in the nation.

The way forward:

To utilize the full potential of our youth it is very important to create a surrounding which enables our youth to come up with their full potential and power. By providing quality education, advanced healthcare, employment and opportunities along with the skill development program and entrepreneurship initiatives we can harness their full potential.

Along with all these things we also need to create a platform for youth participation in the decision-making process. Their innovative solution can be brought by their young perspective. To ensure that the voice of youth is heard and their concern are addressed, we need to involve them in governance and policy making.

Conclusion:

The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow. Their talent, fire of doing something new, passion and enthusiasm can take our nation to a new high. By providing them all the needs from basic to advanced and providing them a favourable surrounding and environment we can make a bright future for tomorrow’s India.

Let us celebrate the spirit of Independent Day with a commitment of creating our nation where youth can develop and contribute meaningfully to society.
