New Delhi, July 26 (HS): The number of Corona patients in the country has now crossed 1.45 million mark. In the last 24 hours, 48,661 new Covid-19 cases have been reported. With this, the number of Corona patients has increased to 13,85,522.
At the same time, 705 people died in the last 24 hours from Corona pushing the death toll to 32,063. According to the Union Health Ministry, there are 4,67,882 active patients in the country.
At the same time, 36,146 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. So far, 8,85,577 patients have been recovered from Corona. The country’s recovery rate has increased to 63.91 per cent.
As the number of Corona patients are increasing in the country, the number of tests has also been increased. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has conducted 4,42,263 tests in the last 24 hours, which is the highest number till date. A total of 1,62,91,331 tests have been done in the country so far.
ICMR is increasing the number of labs to conduct tests across the country. Currently, there are 1,307 labs, including 905 government
labs and 402 private one.
