Governor Raghubar Das Champions Social Causes During Nabarangpur Visit

Governor Raghubar Das, during his visit to Nabarangpur district, passionately urged the community to combat child marriage, while also advocating for the utilization of government schemes during his address to farmers and villagers at Sirisi.

In a display of admiration for Odisha’s vibrant artistic legacy, Das engaged with terracotta artisans at Tondaguda, lauding their talent. His itinerary included a stop at the Anganwadi center in Deleiguda, where he discussed the effective implementation of nutrition programs with Anganwadi workers and parents.

Continuing his tour, Das toured a button mushroom unit at Pradhaniguda, and personally visited the homes of beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at Dumaguda, fostering direct engagement with the community. Additionally, he interacted with members of self-help groups in Semla village, stressing the importance of marketing and branding for their products.

Further highlighting his commitment to education, Das visited the Anwesha hostel at Tirliambaguda, where he generously donated Rs 50,000 to support the students. His tour also included a visit to the Gumaguda primary health center, where he emphasized the importance of healthcare access during interactions with doctors and patients.

Das also visited the Maa Bhandara Gharani temple in Nabarangpur and offered prayer.
