Agra, Uttar Pradesh – In a heartbreaking incident, Manav Sharma, a recruitment manager at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), was found dead in his home after an alleged suicide. The 32-year-old, who had recently married in January 2024, left behind a deeply emotional seven-minute video detailing his struggles and his plea for justice for men in distress.
According to sources, Sharma had been facing severe marital issues. After bringing his wife to Mumbai, where he worked, tensions escalated between the couple. His wife reportedly threatened him with false cases and insisted on leaving him for another relationship. The conflict intensified when Sharma returned to Agra on February 23 to drop his wife at her parental home, where he was allegedly harassed and threatened by her family. The following day, on February 24, he took the extreme step, leaving his family and friends in shock.
In his final video message, Sharma apologized to his parents and highlighted the lack of legal protection for men in marital disputes. His poignant words, “Even if I am gone, please think about other men. They are alone,” have reignited debates about men’s rights and mental health support in India.
